Join us at our May Minicamp! This is a two-night camp designed to expand youth horizons and simulate what an international CISV camp is like. Organized by CISV Fredericton's Junior Board, the minicamp brings together youth eager to learn and connect. Over one weekend, participants will dive into activities that reflect our commitment to fostering peace and understanding among diverse communities.
Our theme for this minicamp is: The World Cup! Throughout the weekend, we will be exploring questions like: Does sport promote peace? How can we ensure big events are sustainable? Should global conflicts affect worldwide events? How does culture affect our language? Is it soccer or football? Is cooperation at these events performative or progressive?
Minicamp is open to youth aged 9-17. Please note that dinner will not be provided on Friday evening, only an evening snack. We will provide breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks on Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday. The site is a 25-minute drive from downtown Fredericton. The location will be shared after registration.
